FAQS and Cancellation Policy

 

 

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM BOOKING SIZE?

We have a minimum charge for pizza based on 40 adults for Monday to Thursday bookings and 50 adults for Friday to Sunday bookings. If your numbers are less than this, please feel free to give us a call to discuss options. If your numbers are lower, we can add additional option/s to bring you up to the minimum spend.

 

The minimum charge for Friday and Sunday evening bookings is $2500. Saturday evening bookings are a $3000 minimum charge. Lunch time and mid-week bookings have a reduced minimum spend.

 

HOW ARE OUR PIZZAS SERVED?

We provide a continuous service of hand stretched wood fired pizzas until everyone is full. Pizzas are served on round timber boards (31cm diameter) for guests to help themselves.

 

A waiter will be included in your quote to place the pizza around your function space, serve pizza to guests and clear. Depending on your event/function we will cater our pizza service to your requirements, whether it be a formal sit-down dinner, a stand-up casual cocktail style event or anything in between.

 

 

HOW LONG DO YOU SERVE FOR?

Access to the event/property is required 90 minutes prior to pizza service to set up and get the oven up to appropriate temperature. Should you need us to arrive and set up set up earlier than we require, additional fees may apply.

 

Once we commence cooking it is a continuous service of pizza until everyone is full. Depending on number of guests typically pizza service ranges anywhere from 60 minutes up to approximately 2 hours. We then pack up, which takes approximately 30 minutes, and depart.

 

 

WHAT SIZE ARE THE PIZZAS?

Our pizza doughs are hand stretched on site and are a large size of 12-13 inches. Pizzas are cut into 8 slices for serving.

 


DO GUESTS NEED TO ORDER?

Guests do not need to come up to the trailer/truck to order, we will bring the pizzas to them. We start with some garlic and cheese pizzas and then run straight onto the main pizzas. We cook through our menu placing a variety of pizzas around for guests to choose from. The only guests that need to come and see us to order are those that have dietary requirements such as gluten free, diary intolerant or vegan. We encourage them to see us prior to service so we can discuss their needs.

 

DO YOU CATER FOR DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?

Yes, we do cater for special dietary requirements - Gluten free*, dairy/lactose intolerant and vegan guests ($5 surcharge per guest applies). We ask that you advise us of how many and what type of requirements they have upfront so that we can ensure we order the products needed to cater for those individuals. We suggest feeding your gluten free guests first.

 

*Due to the nature of our food, we can only guarantee gluten-friendly pizza.  We cannot cater for anaphylactic coeliac.

 

 

DO YOU CHARGE FOR TRAVEL?

We do charge a travel fee for events more than 60kms return from our Head Quarters which is based in Glenview. If applicable this will be included in the quote provided to you.

 

 

WHAT ARE YOUR SET UPS?

We have two Trailers and a Classic Truck.

 

Our Classic Truck is recommended for larger groups as it comes with twin ovens and additional staff. If you are interested in the truck, please let us know and we will include the truck hire in your quote (dependant on availability and location). The Truck can generally only travel on sealed roads.

 

To set up the trailers we require a flat area of 3m x 7m and for the Truck an area of 6m x 8m.

 

 

WHAT DO WE NEED TO PROVIDE?

We need parking on level ground to cater for your event. We are fully self-sufficient for water and wastewater; however, we ideally require access to power for refrigeration during service (1 x 10amp point). Should power not be available we can provide a generator for a small fee.

 

Depending on which of our set ups you book/are available; please confirm size and access requirements when confirming booking and discuss any concerns you may have.

 

We will supply biodegradable plates and napkins.



WHAT OPTIONS DO YOU OFFER IN ADDITION TO PIZZA?

In addition to our wood fired pizza we also offer grazing tables, wings, salads, dessert, gelato, and a cakeage service. Please let us know which options you may be interested in, and we can include them in your quote. Each option is an itemised price per head (except cakeage) based on the total number of guests.

 

If having a grazing table, we allow up to 90 minutes from serving the graze before commencing pizza service. If you would like more time between courses this can be provided at a charge of $100 per hour. Wing platters are generally served around 15 – 30 minutes prior to pizza service. Salads are placed out at the same time as pizza service. Desserts and gelato are served after everyone has finished pizza. We provide all paper plates/bowls etc and cutlery for the additional options.

 

 

WHERE CAN I TASTE TEST YOUR PIZZAS?

We update weekly our Facebook and Instagram pages with times and locations of our public cook ups. We welcome you to come and try our wood fired pizzas!

 

Please note, you will find the service at public events is quite different to our private events, which have a much more personalised and relaxed vibe.

 

 

HOW DO I SECURE MY BOOKING?

A $250 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking and requested date.

 

 

WHEN IS MY FINAL PAYMENT DUE?

Final numbers and dietary requirements are to be confirmed two weeks prior to your event. We will then adjust the final invoice accordingly and full payment is due ten days prior to your event.

 

The onus is on you to confirm the correct number of guests, to allow us to cater appropriately. Should additional guests need to be added after this time please let us know ASAP.

 

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

The $250 deposit to secure the booking and date is non-refundable.

 

If postponing more than 10 days prior to your event, we can move your booking to your new booking date (dependant on our availabity) and this will incur a $150 administration fee.

 

Please note if you postpone your booking into another calendar year, your invoice will be updated to the applicable pricing for that year. 

 

If postponing or cancelling within 10 days of your event, then 50% of the full invoice will be held.
